A cross we located that had purple to orange pods, the plants foliage was dark. Seeds came in a pack titled Midwest Midnight so we have decided to title this one Midwest Sunrise while not a official 'Midwest Gardener' breeding project we felt the name was fitting. People are free to also just call it Orange Midwest Midnight.
The plant had green foliage with white flowers sporting purple tips.
We also have a Midwest Sunrise, and Midwest Midnight available if your looking for the more common hybrid that is orange.

Heat: Mild
Notes: Please note these plants are prolific crossers. Sow many to ensure you end up with the peach pods. They take up very little space in the garden.
