Aji Limon (Lemon Drop)

Aji Limon, also known as Lemon Drop pepper, is a vibrant yellow chili pepper prized for its zesty citrus flavor, fruity aroma, and satisfying heat. Originally from Peru, this popular South American pepper is a favorite among chili enthusiasts and home gardeners looking to add something unique to their gardens and kitchens. Aji Limon peppers typically grow into slender, tapered fruits that ripen from green to a brilliant lemon-yellow color. With a heat level of approximately 15,000–30,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU), the Lemon Drop pepper delivers a noticeable kick balanced by refreshing lemon-like notes. Its combination of bright color, distinctive flavor, and moderate-to-hot spice makes it an excellent choice for anyone who enjoys flavorful hot peppers.

Whether you're making homemade hot sauce, fresh salsa, spicy marinades, or zesty chili flakes, Aji Limon peppers bring a delicious citrus twist to a wide range of dishes. Their tangy flavor pairs especially well with seafood, chicken, vegetables, and Peruvian-inspired recipes. Lemon Drop chili peppers are also ideal for drying, pickling, and preserving, allowing you to enjoy their unique taste throughout the year. For gardeners, Aji Limon pepper plants offer attractive yellow pods and productive harvests when grown in warm, sunny conditions. If you're searching for Lemon Drop pepper seeds, fresh Aji Limon chilies, or a versatile citrus-flavored hot pepper for your garden or kitchen, this Peruvian chili is a standout choice for adding vibrant flavor and memorable heat to your favorite recipes.
