A Guide for Shopping for Canadian Pepper Seeds

Are you looking to grow Canadian Seeds?
We'd like to offer some tips and tricks for your search in Canadian seed producers to help you verify what you're getting, and navigate keeping your grow Canadian.

Before we start, we wanted to say that all of the seeds we sell are grown by us, in Canada. We wanted to highlight the different tricks used by some "Canadian Seed Suppliers"  to show that sometimes what you're supporting is not as Canadian as you think. We see discussion online about supporting Canadian seeds but consumers are unaware that oftentimes, the seeds are not sourced from Canadian growers but from other countries. Some Canadian seed suppliers will not share the source of their seeds on their packaging, and either stamp 'packed in Canada' or have no literature at all. Company websites won't always reveal the source of their seeds either.

We take great pride in saying we grow, harvest, and package our seeds. Proceeds from our seeds go back into the next years grow so we can continue to explore and develop new and interesting varieties.

We are not suggesting you only buy from one country or another, however if you are looking to shop local and really want to support farms in your country we suggest you look into local seed providers who actually produce the products they sell.
