Seed Donations for Educational Settings

Here at Pepper Merchant we are super proud to have donated to a number of school and community garden initiatives. Since 2019 we have sent numerous letters of seeds to school across Ontario and Canada.

While we cant fulfill every request for donated seeds we can surely help you get started with your request. See below for some tips when requesting seeds.

- Schools and food banks are prioritized over other initiatives.

- We have a limited number of packs to send each year set aside for these causes.

- Requests for seeds need to come from a school board email address & be mailed to the educational facility. We will not send donations to personal residences. 

- Tax receipts are a way to help us help you. As a small business these help us cover the costs associated with operating such a business.

- We will not donate seeds to community events where they are being re-sold. If you want a donation for a prize for your community event please contact us with the details on the event, we will require proof that the event is taking place. However if your asking us for free seeds that you then will be selling we wont be willing to assist.

What we ask in return is that you mention our website to your colleagues and friends. A little goes a long way to promoting our small business and the better we do the more we can donate year after year.
